How to list your website?

For the beginners who have created their blog and started monetizing on it don't think its just done with the few steps I'd given below... Hell no it hasn't, that's just the tip of the ice berg because by now or at some point when you type your blog in google you will not find it listed.... Then what do you do??? Don't tell me your satisfied by sending out your website to all your friends out there and prompting them to click on the ads. Trust me it doesn't work that way. Also its going to take a hell lot of time and ultimately you may even loose your adsense account or the alternate for fraudulent clicking. In some cases you could even go behind bars for the fraudulent clicking.

Now lets move on to some tips on how to get your site listed on google...

Tip 1: Once your site or blog has been completed you can add your site on google by just filling out the add url form at www.google.com/addurl.html. Instructions are given in the picture below on how to fill the form.

Tip2: Another way to be listed is by getting other websites to link to yours this will also raise your page rank too. More about page ranking will be discussed in my future posts. How it works is when Google’s robots or spiders, known as Googlebot, crawl the web, they should run across your site within a month or so.

Tip3: How do you get other sites to link onto yours? well that is kind of interesting topic because there are many ways you could do it. First of all you could ask some of your friends who is already having a well established site. But the key is to have interesting content which is relevant. Also keep updating and adding new content. Then you could even suggest other bloggers or websites to link to you. You could even do a trade like if he links yours you could link his to your site.

***** TIP: So far I only discussed about the google search engine... what about other search engines? Well there is a way in which you can hit many targets with one stone, so to speak.

The answer is the Open Directory Project.... By using this your site will be listed on partner sites which use the open directory data, such as AOL Search, Google, Netscape, Yahoo Search and hundreds of other sites. Once your site or blog has been completed you can add your site on http://www.dmoz.org/add.html.

One of the major point to be keep in mind, you have to identify the single best category for the site and then you can go ahead with the suggest URL. In order for the site to be accepted it may take a duration of two weeks to several months for the site to be listed in the partner sites.

Google Adsense Alternatives

Although Google ad sense is the best for putting up ads and earning revenue, but all don't get accepted due to a number of reasons, then what do u do? you don't have to worry thinking all your time has gone to waste in creating the blog.... Hell no it hasn't there are many alternatives...
Here are the top alternatives you could use....

1. AdBrite

According to me the best possible alternative to google adsense is adbrite. Although they dont have the wide range of ad formats as google adsense or clicksor, but they make it up with their more relaxed terms and conditions (they even accept blogs and bloggers as sites if you are fed up with other programs turning you down). As far as i'm concerned thats a big plus point.

Some of the other features include the ability to select the ads in your website if you are particular else you could set it to auto approve the ads. Then there is the inline ads which has a great click through ratio. The revenue sharing is 75% which is not too bad.

2. Clicksor

Clicksor has a lot of ad formats just like google adsense and it would have been the best possible alternative if not for the joining restrictions. Well they don't support small bloggers, because they require the site to have 5,000 page views per day or 150000 page views per month and this criteria can be made possible with more of the well established sites. The revenue sharing is highest 85%, compared to all that's what makes it the best alternative. Although Clicksor has the joining restriction but when it comes to other terms and conditions its more flexible than google adsense.

Money from Blogging

Yup!!! blogging is a very good way of making money, I'm pretty sure of it. Well i actually am doing it right now with this very blog... Some of you probably must have figured it out, while the few of you who haven't I'm going to let you in on how I'm doing it, cause believe me it ain't no big secret... Its pretty simple, just follow the steps below to make money (remember these are just guide lines you could find a more easier way to do it all)...

Step1: Make a e-mail account in gmail if you don't have one or if you not planning to use you existing one. Because this will help you in the preceding steps.

Step 2: Make a blog account in Blogger it is the best blogging website because of its simplicity and you can use your gmail ID which you have created or the existing one to speeding up the sign up process.

Step 3: Now comes the part where you have to be creative, You have to create content for your blog and trust me it can take time if you haven't thought about it. Also please make sure content is original and interesting not only to you but the intended readers. Make sure there are at least two solid posts which has original content and wait for around two days, only then move on to the next step.

Step 4: Now the crucial part, you have to sign up for a google adsense account. Here also your gmail ID comes in handy for speeding up the sign up process. Once you sign up you will have to give you blog address so that they can review your blog. If they find that your blog meets the required criteria they will accept your application and then you can start to post advertisements on you blog and once people visit your blog and click these ads you will start to earn $$$. But make sue you don't click the ads yourself because google has a very good tracking system.
Now suppose your adsense request gets denied, only then go to next step

Step 5: Well don't despair all your time has gone to waste, since google has rejected your application. There are alternatives although they are not as good as google adsense but they are fairly good. All you got to do is sign up for one of the below top 5 alternatives

1. AdBrite
2. Clicksor
3. Bidvertiser
4. Chitika
5. AdToll

Please note more details of these alternatives will be given in my future posts.

Email reading... Do they really pay???

There are lot of scams out there that's for sure... But impossible as it may seem there are some selectively few sites which do pay. Don't hope to make a hell lot of cash because this is a very slow and tedious method of making cash, but if you have a large network of friends who are ready to join in then, definitely you could give it a try...

I've come across a few sites which genuinely make pay outs, also they give you a free bonus of $10 when you sign up. The pay out is made when your account balance reaches $25. You get $0.02 for ever mail you read and $0.01 for every mail your referral reads (by referral i mean a person who joined this network by your introduction). So here are the sites

1. Hits4pay

2. e-mailpaysu

3. cashmoneyemail
